Job DescriptionDirectors (Cybersecurity) for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Formulate and lead global plan to enhance the Vulnerability threat Management efforts and drive organizational cyber security changes. Manage and lead IT professionals and teams to develop and design the next generation of Cyber Security programs and drive successful outcomes. Oversee organization's vulnerability management program that includes vulnerability and security assessments, reporting, escalations, remediation guidance across global infrastructure. Plan end to end, and customized vulnerability threat management programs. Build vulnerability management programs through real world metric and data analysis. Ensure compliance of frameworks, accepted security practices, Industry trends and best practices, known attack vectors and vulnerability assessment methodologies. Deliver outcomes in Global Information Security organizations and application security. Technical environment: secure code reviews (both automated and manual); secure software development methodologies, scripting languages (Python); OWASP Top 10; Agile methodologies; AWS and cloud platforms; Rapid7, Tanium, Sysdig, Burp, Kenna, Tenable Nessus, AppScan, Metasploit, Kali; Vulnerability Management platforms; Security policies and standards, security metrics; risk-based vulnerability management; Attack surface management techniques; emerging threats and intelligence.
Job Requirements
*Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or as a manager or lead engineer or managing IT security teams required. Required Skills: Experience leading cybersecurity services, managing global IT teams (security); Burp, Tenable Nessus, AppScan, Metasploit, Kali; Subject matter expertise designing security programs, Security policies and standards based on industry trends, best practices, known attack vectors; vulnerability/security assessments, risk-based vulnerability management, secure software development methodologies; security metrics; planning end to end/customized vulnerability management programs; driving successful outcomes in large enterprises; scripting (Python); Agile; cloud platforms; Attack surface management techniques; emerging threats and intelligence. Telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or as a manager or lead engineer or managing IT security teams also acceptable).
