Field Operations Support Specialist I
The Field Operations Support Specialist will primarily focus on the fundamentals of the DPG Automation program and white box processes. Calibrating sites at start-up to ensure they feed at the correct rate and do not need a tech to visit the site each time it irrigates. Reviewing sites after start-up during irrigations ensures no issues prevent the site from feeding to the target. Process/clear work orders for sites with technical issues from email alerts. Processing summaries weekly to provide to the Grower relations department to advise of site progress. Processing program updates remotely to the PLC. Leak review/detection and notifying the appropriate personnel when a leak alert is received. To progress from Specialist I to Specialist II you will need to be able to complete required duties with 25% or less supervision.
What you will do:
- Maintain safety in all phases of job performance by ensuring safe work practices are followed
- Develops a fundamental understanding and proficiency with all parts and components of the automation system.
- Immediately communicates automation issues or concerns with the Automation Supervisor and other senior management to ensure effective resolution
- Process/clear work orders for sites with technical issues from email alerts.
- Reviewing sites after start-up during irrigations ensures no issues prevent the site from feeding to the target.
- Efficiently processes start up calibrations with DPG sites
Must be able to:
- Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and comprehend reports and regulatory documents
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
