General Purpose: Support position responsible for processing and preparing loan documents for Agricultural loans. Provide assistance to the Ag Lending staff. Perform quality control activities. Provide assistance with Credit Union Ag products and services to members when required.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Process and disburse Ag purpose loans and related requests, as directed.
  2. Maintain Ag loan files according to BHFCU policies and procedures by ensuring the proper documents are obtained, documents are accurately completed, and loan information is processed into computer system.
  3. Insure security interests in collateral are properly recorded.
  4. Maintain the Ag Document Tracking Report to insure necessary items are obtained and updated.
  5. Audit Ag loan files to insure that proper procedure is being followed and loans are being properly reported.
  6. Monitor and service all Ag loan files.
  7. Prepare loan documents.
  8. Close loans and cross sell.

Other Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the confidentiality and security of loans being processed.
  2. Release liens on titles and other collateral as requested per state requirements and credit union policies.
  3. Perform loan payouts and other PFA back-up duties as requested.
  4. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Credit Administration Manager.

Job Knowledge
  1. Working knowledge of the credit union's products and services.
  2. Working knowledge of organization's policies/procedures and credit union's service philosophy.
  3. Working knowledge of safety and security program for false alarms, robberies, bomb threats and extortion.
  4. Working knowledge of credit union's in-house computer system / Internet.
  5. Working knowledge of state and federal business lending regulations.

  7. Ability to assess needs of multiple members and prioritize requests to ensure that all members receive the highest quality service possible. Ability to handle daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret and act upon various situations.
  8. Ability to present a professional and personable personality that communicates to members and visitors that the credit union is a professional financial institution.

Job Qualifications (Education/Experience)
Job requires a high school level of language, math and reasoning skills. One to two years experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is acceptable. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.

Job requires limited physical effort. It is primarily a desk assignment. Work within a highly structured and closely supervised environment. Ability to function in a fast-paced area. The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations. The job requires a degree of attention to details.
