Role and Responsibilities:
Refined is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. The Loan Processor will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from application to closing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to facilitate smooth transactions and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Process loan applications promptly and accurately, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines
- Review financial documents, credit reports, and other pertinent information to assess applicant eligibility
- Coordinate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies
- Communicate with clients to request additional information and provide updates on loan status
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Liaise with third-party vendors, such as appraisers and title companies, to facilitate property assessments and title searches
- Maintain detailed records of loan transactions and correspondence
- Assist in the resolution of any post-closing issues or inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in loan processing or a similar role, preferably in commercial real estate
- Familiarity with loan origination software and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
