Loan Processor

Position: Loan Processor

The Processor works with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party providers to obtain documentation and provide a thorough, accurate, and complete loan package from underwriting to closing. Proactively maintains control of the loan file, monitors dates for approval, appraisals, purchase deadlines and closing. Ensures that all deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. Recognizes and resolves challenges early in the process and provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with our Loan Officers to ensure a timely and positive experience for the borrower throughout the entire mortgage process. Communicates with borrower(s) to obtain related conditions. Produces closing packages for mortgage closings.
• Calls specified companies to obtain necessary documentation. Follows up on all outstanding orders to third parties and borrowers within established deadlines, and verifies the accuracy of information. Produces closing packages for mortgage closings.
• Must complete all required compliance training and ensure regulatory compliance is met on a Federal, State, and local level. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Watertown Savings Bank’s internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Requirements:

· 2 - 5 years of relevant experience.

· High School Diploma / GED or Foreign Equivalent.

· Effective communication skills with a prominent level of customer service.

· Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a high-paced environment.

· Must have strong computer skills and proficiency with loan industry software, i.e.:

Encompass, LoanVantage, Jack Henry’s OnBoard Loans.

· Familiarity with TRID, HMDA, RESPA, Reg. Z.

· Detail orientated with proficient organizational skills.

· Experience with common secondary market loans.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
