SalaryEstablished Residential Mortgage Banker looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Jr. Underwriter. The Jr. Underwriter will work closely with loan officers and underwriters to review loan files to ensure compliance with underwriting, agency, and investor guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loans submitted to ensure they meet regulatory, underwriting, and company guidelines
- Ability to maintain guidelines of agencies and multiple investors, including Non-QM
- Communicate with loan officers and borrowers regarding open conditions
- Structure loans to conforming, non-conforming, and Non-QM investors
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirement
- Minimum of two year experience in the mortgage industry
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decision making and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Encompass LOS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
