We’re hiring for a full-time in-person Loan Processor to work in tandem with the loan officer to properly package loans for our clients and get them mortgage ready. The loan officer will cultivate new business while you facilitate the submission, processing and ensure a successful closing.

Compensation:$55,000+
Responsibilities:- Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from submission to close
- Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documents prior to submission
- Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process Mortgage Loan files
- Respond to all in-house and customer inquiries regarding transactions and maintain detailed documentation of the process from submission to close
- Communication of milestones to various parties involved in the transaction - attorneys, real estate agents, loan officers, and clients
- Customer service - provide exceptional service to clients by addressing concerns and providing timely feedback
- Understanding of Mortgage Loan products (CONV/FHA/VA) and knowledge of mortgage documentation, processes, and procedures
- 2+ years of Loan Processor experience preferred
- Prior Mortgage Brokerage experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and follow-up skills
- Working knowledge of automated underwriting systems such as DU and LP
- Must be willing to work in person within the North shore of Long Island, NY (Glen Head, Glen Cove, Oyster Bay Area)
- Proficiency in Chinese Language is preferred
