Summary
To provide administrative support to the Live Production department and Administration Offices. To provide backup to other Live Production areas as needed. Must be a friendly self-starter with a pleasant and energetic phone presence. Requires Microsoft Office experience and at least one year of office and/or clerical experience. Individuals will be actively involved in all aspects of Live Operations
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Describe below the major responsibilities of this position which must be fulfilled with or without reasonable accommodations in order to achieve the essential purpose of this position.
- Ensures assigned weekly and monthly reports are completed
- Maintain and review bird movement schedules
- Manage incoming feed orders, re-direct to appropriate feed departments
- Coordinate data input to Excel and MTECH worksheets on a daily basis
- Schedule and maintain Live Production supplies and deliveries
- Create requisitions, issue purchase orders, and receive deliveries in MAXIMO
- Make outbound customer calls as needed
- Monitor service reports and Growout packets
- Support Growout and Hatchery reporting needs
- Ability to multi task, adapt to rapid changes and work well under limited supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Participate in company and department safety programs and comply with company policies and procedures
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent. Completion of BA, BS or AA degree preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience. Detail oriented and organized. Work independently and with others. Proficient computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
Compensation Data
This position has a target hourly rate of $24-$30 per hour.
