Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing phone calls, and maintaining office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer literacy skills, strong phone etiquette, and exceptional organizational abilities.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist with proofreading and transcribing documents as needed
- Manage the front desk area and ensure it is clean and organized
- Perform various clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Coordinate appointments and meetings, including scheduling and sending reminders
Requirements:
- Proficient computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred but not required
