Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Queens plaintiff's personal injury law firm is seeking a (BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKING) Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant preferably with 2 to 3 years of experience to join the team. Must have the ability to prioritize and multitask. Candidate must be dedicated, hard-working, detail-oriented and be committed to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Verbal English/Spanish translation.
• Prepare and sent out settlement papers to Insurance carrier.
• Follow up with the Insurance carrier regarding settlement checks.
• Prepare closing statements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Front Desk Receptionist/ legal Assistant: 2 years (Required)
• Personal injury law: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Forest Hills, NY 11375 (Required)
