Job Description
Established and growing law firm is in search of an agile and competent Legal Assistant to interview and start ASAP. Competitive salary and overall compensation package that includes annual bonus as well as professional office and team collaborative environment.
The Legal Assistant will directly support one member attorney. Must have experience in Insurance/Transportation Defense. At minimum, 5 years of tenured, relevant experience required. MUST HAVE BILLING EXPERIENCE.
Duties may include:
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents.
- Research background information related to legal issues, gather records and files and
put information together.
- Draft routine contracts or legal agreements.
- Retain files of prepared legal documents.
- May respond to interrogatories and coordinate requests between internal and
external counsel.
