Learning & Development Specialist

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to work a hybrid role in the Houston area. This is a contract role for about 6-months.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that support the professional development of employees. This individual will collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to perform needs analysis, design, develop and deliver training materials, ensuring that instructional quality is built into final project deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in design, development, and delivery of instructional material in a corporate setting.

• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.

• Authoring tool experience essential, Articulate Storyline preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.

• Experience with learning management systems (LMS)

• Experience designing and delivering a variety of training programs.

• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Elevated level of professionalism, executive presence, and credibility; able to effectively challenge and influence peers and customers.
