Ground Floor Opportunity – Business Development:

Looking for an exceptional individual to start and head up Business Development of what is sure to be Texas’ most leading edge Interior Design firm.

Thoughtform Design Build, LLC is offering a great opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to join an emerging name in the Texas design + build industry.

Thoughtform focuses on design of luxury properties both residential and commercial.

The Position:

· Remote or Office based

· Our head U.S. office is based in Austin

· We are currently seeking a motivated Business Developer for our expansion in the United States.

· The successful candidate does not require any experience in Business Development but previous positions in a client relations oriented position would be preferred

· Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills

· Must be highly presentable and be able to present the company’s services

· Must conduct thorough research of market participants

Position Description:

· You will introduce the company and its Principal to the best Architects and Developers in key markets

· Utilize multiple sales methods to contact potential clients through a combination of phone, email, drop-ins and other correspondence to secure face-to-face meetings or virtual meetings on a daily basis.

· Conduct multiple virtual and face-to-face meetings and conference calls on a weekly basis.

· Focus on conducting public relations campaigns in a number of markets and in various media categories to penetrate different media outlets

· Focused coverage on main markets including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, New York, and Dallas and of course, Austin

· Research websites and media sources to stay up to date on new projects being planned and built in target markets primarily targeting developers and architects.

· Provide regular client follow-up and monitor status of upcoming projects and proposals.

· Work closely with our team throughout the design process to have a better understanding of target market needs.

· Ensure follow-up and qualification of all potential leads

· Identify additional opportunities for new business through targeting new avenues to generate interest in the company (e.g. influencers, flight ads, airport ads).

· Record and report on Business Development activities directly to the CEO, Jessica Neilas

· Participate in additional Business Development activities Including attending industry events such as conferences and other meet and greet events

· Travel, as necessary, to meet with prospective clients, networking events and other required meetings.

Your Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Architecture preferred, but not necessary if you have a good understanding of interior design from a related industry

· Business Development experience preferred but not required, drive to succeed is key here

· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with potential clients and repeat clients.

· Ability to stay organized and follow-up on leads in a timely manner.

· Entrepreneurial drive

· Proficient with Microsoft Software (Office 365)

· Experience in the Interior Design industry is preferred but not a must ·

· General interest in the Real Estate Development sector

· A sense of design and style which can be conveyed to clients directly and indirectly

Benefits & Compensation:

· Base Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience with Business Development

· Commission Structure: Target of $50,000 in first year and upwards of 150,000+ thereafter

· After the first year you will earn residuals on existing and repeat clients

Pay: $50,821.59 - $61,204.50 per year
