Job description

The Teammate Development Specialist plays a key role on the Teammate Development team. Core duties include supporting the team’s training efforts by running and organizing company-wide training program, supporting projects to help maintain the Bridge, LMS management and content creation support. This role reports to the Learning and Development Manager


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage company-wide monthly trainings including soliciting feedback on training topics, reaching out to speakers, sending out accurate calendar invites to appropriate groups of Teammates.
  • Ensuring that all company wide trainings are recorded and uploaded to the Bridge timely, unless otherwise instructed
  • Prepare internal and external training data for upload into UKG (Kronos)
  • Support content creation efforts including but not limited to supporting development of user guides, training documentation and training videos.
  • Ensure that the LMS users are up to date including uploading all new teammates, marking terminated Teammates as inactive and updating managers as appropriate.
  • Assigning courses to Teammates via the LMS as instructed.
  • Managing LMS questions that come via ZenDesk or other modes of communication.
  • Routine administrative tasks as needed by Teammate Development managers
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
  • Follow SHM safety and environmental rules and complete required related training
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area
  • Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately

Technical and Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
