Staff Development Specialist In Utilization Review

Job Summary:
ReportPrep, Inc. is based in Texas, primarily in the DFW metroplex and secondarily in east Texas. We are looking for a Staff Development Specialist with experience in occupational health, rehabilitation and/or Utilization Review. This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of Utilization Review support staff. You will collaborate with the management team to assess training needs, design and deliver training programs/manuals, and evaluate training effectiveness. You will contribute to the professional development and growth of Utilization Review support staff through Quality Assurance, ongoing training and re-training processes. Responsibilities:
- Onboard and coordinate training for new staff; provide regular training feedback/evaluations; facilitate progression of training materials
- Perform quality assurance audits; recognize trends to identify opportunity for improvement (individual or team); recommend re-education and re-training based on audit results
- Develop educational/training materials and provide ongoing education as needs are identified
- Participate in quality assurance of daily work flow including review of work of trainees, staff under QA audits, and random QA
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all review activities

Qualifications:
- Education as a LVN, LPN, PT Assistant, OT Assistant, RN, PT or OT
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health, rehabilitation, and/or Utilization Review
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical information
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with evidence-based medicine treatment guidelines
- High-speed internet and computer proficiency including typing and Microsoft programs (Word and Excel)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
