Junior Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Junior Staff Accountant position in the Houston area.
Job Description:
The Junior Staff Accountant will be responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information and prepare accurate and timely financial reports. This position has the following responsibilities: bank reconciliations, recording daily cash activity, payroll journal entries and reconciliations, revenue journal entries and reconciliations, generating intercompany AR invoices and applying payments, setting up new leases, credit card reconciliations, and other projects to assist Staff Accountants or Accounts Payable.
Qualifications:

• Either pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college - required
• 0 - 2 years of prior work experience - required
• Must be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Microsoft Outlook
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Clean background and drug screen
