Junior Corporate Accountant

Title: Jr. Corporate Accountant

Ideal candidates must have excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills, possess experience with modern accounting information systems and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook. He/she will possess knowledge of accounts receivable, and accounts payable, creating journal entries, and be able to participate in special projects and analyses upon request. The candidate should be self-motivating, possess attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work autonomously. This is a position that has potential for career growth and responsibility.

Duties

· Prepare monthly journal entries; develop a deep understanding of our General Ledger

· Process and record management fees and intercompany reimbursements

· Perform variance analysis

· Process bank deposits

· Support team members

· Maintain confidential information

Skills traits, capabilities, and experience

· Full charge bookkeeping/accounting experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related degree, required

· Excel spreadsheet proficiency; advanced competency in spreadsheet work

· Excellent spelling and grammar

· Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task

· Able to set priorities and meet deadlines

· Attention to detail and proofreading are a must

· Must be a team player and able to get along with many personalities

· He/she is teachable and willing to learn new systems and processes in a growing organization

· Ability to work full-time hours in an open office environment
