Junior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior accountants with all financial operations.
• Posting of monthly accruals and other journal entries as required.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in the analysis of financial statement components as needed.
• Assist with daily banking activities and reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Ensure accounting and reporting processes comply with applicable internal control requirements.
• Be an active member of the team; complete ad-hoc requests and be flexible in completing any task.
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Education and Training

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• D365 Knowledge is a plus.

Expectations

• Proven working experience in accounting.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.

Education

• Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
