Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in financial accounting and analysis.

Duties:

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Perform account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Assist with the preparation of journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

- Support the budgeting process by gathering relevant financial information and assisting with budget preparation

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

- Assist with cash flow analysis and forecasting

- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payment to vendors

- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues that require resolution

- Assist with the interpretation of financial reports and provide insights to management

- Process accounts receivable transactions

Skills:

- Strong understanding of financial concepts, principles, and practices

- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and cash flow analysis

- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices

- Ability to perform financial analysis using various tools and techniques

- Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance

- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
