Junior Salesforce Administrator, IT (Remote or Hybrid in Washington, DC; Durham, NC; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; or San Francisco, CA)
Arabella Advisors is seeking a Jr. Salesforce Administrator to support Arabella’s implementation of the Salesforce platform. Arabella’s Salesforce org is highly customized for fiscal sponsorship operations. In collaboration with the IT and Salesforce team, the Jr. Salesforce Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring Arabella’s Salesforce org meets the business needs of staff.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Project Support (25%)
    • Support small-medium Salesforce projects by completing development tasks and internal QA
  • Salesforce Administration & Maintenance (75%)
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 support requests for maintenance and bug fixes from end users, including analyzing the issue, declarative configuration, testing, and deployment, or identify for escalation
    • Support Salesforce configuration changes and maintenance
    • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, access and permissions
    • Manage installed packages in Salesforce
    • Create system and process documentation for admins and training materials for end users
    • Participate in regular deployments of new features and bug fixes
    • Support facilitation of end user training
    • Follow Salesforce and develops best practices
    • Participate in Salesforce community groups and learning
To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need
  • 1 year of experience in a Salesforce administrator role
  • Familiarity with and/or experience working within a fiscal sponsorship structure is a plus
  • The ability to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into work processes and demonstrate an understanding of how oppression, privilege, and power present in interactions and work
  • Strong task management skills to complete assigned tasks, support projects, and meet deadlines
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to use that intelligence to appropriately adapt to stakeholders’ needs

Working with Us
While his position can be hybrid in Washington, DC, Durham, NC, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA, or Remote from the following states/district: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington State, or Wisconsin; the preferred locations for this position are Hybrid in Washington, DC, Durham, NC, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA. Please note that all Arabella Advisors’ offices have reopened, and we work in a hybrid environment.
We reopened our offices in Summer of 2022 and work with a hybrid workplace strategy to ensure continued flexibility for our staff, while deepening our strong culture rooted in collaboration and in-person interactions between colleagues. We expect that after their initial onboarding, all Arabellans will have the choice of two hybrid schedules. Our hybrid schedule options include Flex, with 1-2 days per week in the office, or Office-based, with 3+ days per week in the office (or more if preferred) and the remaining days working at home/remotely. Total Rewards (compensation and benefits)
This is a full-time position. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on salary ranges for similar sized organizations in the professional services sector and adjusted for local labor market rates and differentiated by geography.
Annual Pay Ranges for This Position:
Durham pay range: $52,000 - $65,000
Chicago pay range: $55,000 - $67,000
DC pay range: $ $57,000 - $71,000
NY/SF pay range: $ $62,000 - $77,000
All full-time staff are eligible for our generous benefits package on their first day of employment:
  • Health insurance- On average Arabella pays 86% of the medical premium, 80% of the dental premium, and 100% of the vision premium
  • Paid time off- 16 days’ vacation, 10 personal days, 11 company holidays (7 federal and 4 more from a list of inclusive cultural and religious holidays and your birthday), 20 hours’ volunteer leave, 8 weeks’ parental leave
