Welcome to Alpine Intel, a leader in the property insurance intelligence industry. We are currently seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC.
The Junior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for assisting with maintaining, updating, and enhancing current and new Salesforce functionalities. This position works closely with other development team members and will aid in support of current functionality, as well as participate in all phases of new implementations including planning, designing, developing, and deploying solutions that will ensure Salesforce supports all business processes for Alpine Intel Companies and Affiliates. The Junior Salesforce Developer reports directly to the Director of Development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation and maintenance of apex test classes that adhere to best practices.
- Design and build Lightning Web Components with HTML and JavaScript.
- Write and rearchitect apex classes following best practices.
- Work with development team members in testing of new functionality through the UI as logged in users from multiple profiles.
- Provide out of the box solutions with the use of Flows, approval processes, custom labels, custom settings, custom metadata types, and other tools.
- Aid in the creation of objects and fields, all types including formula fields.
- Write reports (standard and custom report types) and add to new or existing dashboards.
- Collaborate on Mulesoft applications and solutions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution is highly preferred, but not required. Will also consider combinations of education and/or IT Certifications in addition to relevant experience.
- Knowledge of core Java skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts and subject matter experts.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Large Data Volumes, Performance Tuning, Apex Triggers, Web Services, LWC, Visualforce and Migration Tools.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of SQL, Web Services (REST and/or SOAP).
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML 5, Aura, jQuery, JavaScript).
- An understanding of Object-Oriented design methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to requirement and priority changes.
- Attention to detail with strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- Noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
