About the role:

As Junior Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role at Mary Baldwin University. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements, designing best practice solutions, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve student engagement and retention.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, specifically the Education Data Architecture, Marketing Cloud/Pardot, and a desire to keep abreast of the ever-evolving Salesforce Higher Education platform and CRM. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will work closely with enrollment, academic and advancement teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting, and to develop effective student engagement strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

· Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports

· Work with Salesforce Apex Classes, Triggers, Visual force pages, and SOQL statements using Salesforce development best practices

· Use Pardot Marketing tool to work on creation of Campaigns, Prospects, Dynamic lists, Dynamic Content, Email Templates, Layout Templates, Forms, landing pages, Configured Custom Fields and scheduling emails as per business need.

· Design Pardot applications, including enhancements, building, validations and deployments.

· Create Pardot complex journeys through various Engagement Programs.

· Work on Email module with email template creation, content configuration, personalization, sender profile setup and test send validations within Pardot.

· Use knowledge of HTML or CSS to create landing pages, forms, and email templates within Pardot.

· Configure Automation Rules and Segmentation lists based on prospect categorizations to be used in various marketing communications.

· Manage data to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed

· Integrate Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK APIs.

· Develop and maintain custom applications and workflows using the Salesforce OmniStudio tools, such as Integration Procedures, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Expression Sets, OmniScripts, Industry Consoles, and Decision Matrices.

· Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions using Tableau.

· Work with integrated applications for enabling data flow between platforms including but not limited to Pardot, OmniStudio, Tableau, Informatica, DocuSign, Mongoose, OnBase, FormAssembly

· Manage users, including role creation, profiles, permissions, and group configuration for Salesforce and supporting applications

· Monitor and improve user adoption by identifying unused or underutilized platform features

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field; master’s degree strongly preferred.

· 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce, preferably developing solutions in a higher education setting.

· Designing scalable, best practice solutions

· Demonstrated strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights for marketing and enrollment management.

· Excellent relationship-building skills

· Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

· Experience translating requirements into technical solutions

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

· Experience with data management and quality control, including data imports, exports, and data hygiene.

· Training end users and key stakeholders

· Technical documentation

· A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization.

· Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.
