About the HJGT:
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing Junior Golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every Junior Golfer is eligible to participate on the HJGT. Currently the HJGT is the largest Junior Golf tour in the world hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour.
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service/Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, managing our top partner accounts, performing outgoing sales calls, and performing various other duties to ensure the company’s smooth operation. This position is crucial to our organization's success as it directly contributes to revenue generation through proactive sales efforts, client relationship management, and the development of new business opportunities.
The preferred candidate will possess a robust background in communications, marketing, analytics, or a related field, along with a track record of successfully managing and developing programs. They should demonstrate natural leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a talent for interpersonal interactions. We seek an individual with outstanding writing and creative capabilities, coupled with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, comfort with daily customer interactions, a inclination for thriving in fast-paced environments, and an ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances are essential traits.
As the Customer Service/Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service. Responsibilities include:
· Develop, implement, and maintain push notification and in-app message campaigns, including managing the campaign calendar.
· Engage with followers and promptly address inquiries.
· Respond promptly and attentively to all incoming phone calls, averaging around 30 calls per day.
· Manage all incoming text messages, promptly responding to each, categorizing them, and directing them to the relevant department or team member
· Manage all incoming inquiries via email and chat as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
· Craft compelling and persuasive text messaging to increase event attendance and drive sales through promotional activities, awareness campaigns, flash sales, and more.
· Enhance customer satisfaction, cultivate customer engagement, and facilitate organic growth.
· Assume responsibility for customer concerns and ensure all issues are resolved satisfactorily
· Establish and refine service procedures, policies and standards
· Compile and oversee weekly executive reports for senior management.
· Maintain precise records and document all customer service interactions and resolutions.
· Provide guidance and supervision to 2-4 interns per semester, fostering an environment that encourages and empowers them to excel
· Oversee tour credits issued due to player withdrawals and the overall implementation of the withdrawal policy
· Manage all invites for HJGT Invitationals (text, emails, phone calls)
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college (or equivalent work experience)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in customer service, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Previous experience in the Golf industry is a plus
Compensation Package:
- Competitive Salary (based on experience) $40,000- $55,000

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules including nights and weekend to reflect the business needs of the company.
