Description
We are searching for a topnotch, self-driven, creative, and proactive Content Marketing Manager to be a valuable addition to the expanding marketing department of a thriving B2B professional services company in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and a data-centric approach to content creation. While experience in the event industry or a related B2B market is advantageous, our client welcomes individuals who share the enthusiasm for marketing and are dedicated to nurturing a positive company culture.
This is a full-time, fully remote role within a fun and creative company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate directly with the COO, Marketing Manager, and the rest of the Marketing team.
• Attend and proactively schedule marketing meetings as needed.
• Work closely with internal departments and National and International Partners when required.
• Manage the blog content calendar, including blog briefs, and oversee the content writer.
• Conduct SEO research and competitor analysis to generate innovative content ideas.
• Support larger SEO projects to enhance organic search performance, traffic, leads, and revenue.
• Optimize blog posts with primary and secondary keywords, along with meta descriptions for improved search visibility.
• Refresh and repurpose old blog content on the company website to maintain relevance and search ranking.
• Monitor industry trends, seasonal events, and timely blog content opportunities.
• Analyze traffic and keywords using SEO tools to inform content optimization.
• Track and document updates made to blog content for performance evaluation and improvement.
• Manage guest blog inquiries and occasionally contribute press articles.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to adjust copy for advertising campaigns based on keyword research.
• Assist in other marketing projects and contribute to all marketing programs and product launches.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3 years minimum of experience in SEO and content management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability, multitasking skills, and a proactive mindset.
• In-depth understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Familiarity with platforms and tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and CRM systems.
• Solid project management and proofing skills.
Salary Description
$75,000 - $85,000
