- Oversees both Business Development and account retention: The Regional Sales Director is responsible for managing both the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing accounts in the Midwest region. The Regional Sales Director should continue to acquire a book of business based on their geography.
- Takes ownership of deal work on all accounts over 100k with BDM. The Regional Sales Director plays a key role in handling and finalizing deals for all accounts, in collaboration with the Business Development Manager (BDM).
- Reviews all prospects in the region ensuring AFV understands each marketplace: The Regional Sales Director evaluates all potential customers in the Midwest region and ensures that the company, has a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics and characteristics of each landscape.
- Develops relationships with all third-party management companies to assist with locations in the territory: The Regional Sales Director establishes and nurtures relationships with third-party management companies to facilitate the expansion and presence of AFV's products or services in their assigned region.
- Follows and holds reps accountable for all account retention processes: The Regional Sales Director ensures that representatives under their supervision adhere to the established processes for retaining accounts and holds them accountable for their performance in this area.
- Reviews all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) weekly to ensure reps are following the weekly process: The Regional Sales Director regularly assesses the KPIs of the sales representatives to ensure their adherence to the weekly processes defined by the company.
- Assists and continues to develop and train all BDMs and KAMs reporting up: The Regional Sales Director provides, support, and ongoing training to the Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) who report to them, with the aim of their professional growth and development.
- Understands competitive landscape: The Regional Sales Director possesses a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape within the industry to effectively strategize and position AFV's offerings against our competition.
Job Requirements:
- Must learn and understand components of the Triangle Selling module: The Regional Sales Director is expected to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Triangle Selling module.
- The Regional Sales Director is required to undergo Emotional Intelligence Training, which aims to enhance their ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in themselves and others, improving communication and relationship-building skills.
- Background in Sales Management for a B2B company for over 3 years: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Management within a business-to-business (B2B) company, indicating familiarity with managing sales teams and driving results in a B2B sales environment.
- Must understand Salesforce, ZoomInfo, proposal writing and other technology to perform this role.
