Role Summary
Support Mine Operations with all underground projects pertaining to mine optimization, resource extraction, and safety improvements.
Main Responsibilities | Activities
- Review, investigate, and develop recommendations regarding all underground engineering projects
- Act as technical expert on a wide range of small to medium site construction, expansion, and modification projects
- Develop and communicate project plan to mine planning and contractor to ensure projects stay on plan and budget
- Track and report project compliance to plan, actual vs planned spend monthly
- Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project phases
- Ensure all mine site projects are delivered in line with Eagle Mine HSE standards and policies
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Engineering field; appropriate combination of education and experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience (technical and/or operations); underground experience required
- Experience with project scheduling and budgeting required
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience with Deswik Suite, VentSim, Microsoft Office Suite preferred
