Junior Accounting Contoller
The position of the Junior Accounting Controller position is based out of North Fort Worth, Texas, and reports directly to the Controller. The Junior Accounting Controller will be active in full cycle accounting for multiple entities, ad hoc reporting, and aid in process documentation. The ideal candidate will be competent in Excel, comfortable collaborating in groups, and able to look for new efficiencies in existing procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing financial activities for all Subcos.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for review by senior management.
- Collaborate with company managers to track and analyze budgets and forecast vs actuals.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and data entry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
