Junior Accountant

```Duties``` - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports - Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Support the payroll function by ensuring accurate and timely processing - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations - Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes - Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial reports ```Qualifications``` - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices - Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred - Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis - Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and accrual accounting - Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus - Experience with payroll processing is desirable - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, general ledger reconciliations, budgeting, payroll processing, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software. Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred, as well as knowledge of governmental accounting regulations. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
