Annual Salary Range:  $90,000.00-$105,000.00 US Dollars
The  pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.  You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Position Summary: 
ABMIndustries is seeking a skilled and experienced Janitorial Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The SME will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of janitorial services across various facilities. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of janitorial processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning Expertise: Utilize expert knowledge of janitorial processes, equipment, and chemicals to ensure optimal cleanliness and sanitation in all areas.
2. Training and Development: Train and mentor janitorial staff on best practices, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
3. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that ABM's high standards of cleanliness are consistently met, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
4. Product and Equipment Management: Stay informed about the latest cleaning products and equipment, making recommendations for upgrades or changes as needed.
5. Specialized Cleaning: Handle specialized cleaning tasks, such as floor care, carpet cleaning, and window cleaning, with a high level of proficiency.
6. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage janitorial supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and making procurement recommendations.
7. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with ABM's safety standards and industry regulations.
8. Problem Solving: Identify and address janitorial challenges effectively, implementing solutions to maintain a clean and safe environment.
9. Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with facility managers, clients, and other ABM staff to address cleaning needs and coordinate activities.
10. Documentation: Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, completed tasks, and any issues or challenges encountered.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a janitorial professional with a focus on expertise and efficiency.
2. In-depth knowledge of janitorial processes, chemicals, and equipment.
3. Minimum of at least 5-10 years of experience in janitorial processes, with experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
4. Excellent leadership and training skills.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
6. Ability to troubleshoot and address janitorial challenges effectively.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in janitorial services are a plus.
10. Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
