Position Summary: The IT Support Technician provides network, hardware and software support for location. The IT Support Technician will organize and dispatch tickets to him/herself or other support team(s) as needed. Duties include troubleshooting and resolving LAN, application, server, desktop issues, and support for proprietary applications, mobile devices, and PCs in a majority Microsoft environment.

- Respond to telephone calls, email and personal requests and tickets and technical support in a fast, friendly manner and have the ability to consult technical situations to non-technical individuals.
- Troubleshoot & support software applications, various hardware/software configurations and run appropriate testing & diagnostics. Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems and escalate problems to other support teams when necessary. Integrate with outside service providers on the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- Clearly document incidents/problems, including the issue, troubleshooting steps taken to resolve it, and comments, in a ticketing system.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to frequent change and be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Work with diverse groups and individuals to set goals, establish priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience in:
- Supporting applications, hardware, IT equipment setups (for example desks)
- Basic network (LAN and WIFI) administration
- Troubleshooting printer problems
- Using remote support tools
- Experience preferred in:
- ERP Systems (for example SAP)
- MES Systems
- Document Management Systems
- Proficiency with Windows PCs and familiarity with common desktop software (Adobe Acrobat,
- etc.) as well as Office 365 services like Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Excel, ...
- Familiarity with managing small IP networks, including supporting Wi-Fi Access Points and
- DHCP, DNS, IP configurations and firewalls on end-computer level
Experience working with other Microsoft Services and Infrastructure like one or more of the
following technologies is preferable:
- Active Directory
- Remote Desktop Services
- File and Print Services
- Microsoft Intune
- Aruba Network Equipment
Education/Experience:
Associate degree in information technology, or minimum of 2 years' experience equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
- CompTIA IT Certification preferable
- Microsoft MS-900 preferable
- Microsoft MS-740 preferable
