It Support Technician - Direct Hire!

IT Support Technician responsible for the lifecycle management and troubleshooting of IT hardware and systems for 3 manufacturing facilities in the Greenwood area. With the assistance of a corporate IT Team, the IT Support Technician will maintain an on-site rotation and provide hands-on troubleshooting support for 3 locations. Communication with office staff, management, and machine operators is essential for this position. Candidates with field installation experience are preferred!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Hardware Troubleshooting - Diagnose and replace computer peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, webcam, monitors, speakers, projectors, and audio devices. Responsible for printer connectivity, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  Identify basic PC issues and communicate findings to corporate IT team.Ability to
• Networking Installation - Assist 3 rd party technicians with installation of Wi-Fi routers, modems, cabling, and ports. Responsible for mounting and connecting new server hardware (routers & switches). Knowledge of proper mounting solutions using stud finders, power tools, fasteners, and hardware. Understanding of basic electrical concepts and circuit breakers.
• IT Security - Installation and configuration of cameras, security access doors, and alarms. Troubleshooting knowledge of facility security. Assist 3 rd party technicians when needed.
• In-person Support

• Communication: Support 2 Greenwood facilities and one in Sumter and work closely with a corporate IT team located in Ohio. Deliver clear troubleshooting reports and share future initiatives with management.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnoses a problem and devises a plan to correct the problem with the necessary individuals.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field preferred
• IT Certifications preferred.
• 1-2 plus years of experience with hands-on infrastructure support.
