The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for accurately tracking incoming and outgoing parts. They will use computer software and other technologies to tag items with parts information and location. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible of all aspects of inventory work including but not limited to, receiving, shipping and inventory storage. They will report all shortages and deficiencies to the Maintenance Inventory Specialist. All duties will be completed with the highest safety, quality, and GMP standards.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management control
- Reconcile inventory in the CMMS system when necessary
- Make recommendations to the Maintenance Inventory Specialist on programs to improve the management of inventory
- Give notice on all shortages and inconsistencies
- Assist Maintenance team in the research of parts. Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records and take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies
- Develop a program to audit returns and move returned parts to its proper location. Take appropriate action on items that are not in useable condition
- Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective parts are accounted for and properly handled by dumping, salvaging, or returning to stock. Maintain records to accurately track recouped products and return saleable products to stock
- Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs. Including weekly and monthly reports
- Perform cycle counts weekly and make system adjustments as necessary
- Handle the receiving of new parts ordered, update system, including POs, and scan documents to store information on One Drive
- Develop a program to maintain tight security over the inventory. Assure that only authorized personnel have access to inventory areas. Maintain accurate inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection
- Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts, including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
- Communicate with Maintenance Team and other departments regarding location and counts of physical inventories
- Assist in the ordering of new parts and creation of POs when needed
- Assist in educating the proper use of the system to find inventory. Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., management, team, associates)
- Adhere to Bakerly's safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to Bakerly's Good Manufactoring Practices (GMPs)
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
- 0-2 years inventory control experience is a plus
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and around machinery and chemicals

- Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
