SalaryResponsibilities of this position include the coordinating of all OR supplies and equipment purchases and inventory stocking. Communicates with OR staff, Purchasing, Vendors, and storeroom to fulfill timely supply acquisitions to assure the right product is available for procedures. Performs all activities associated with OR charges, including capturing appropriate charges, and ensuring new items are set up properly in Cerner/PS.
High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred. Healthcare or related industry experience strongly preferred; previous work experience in an Operating Room setting desired. Must be proficient with Microsoft word and excel and have strong verbal and written communication skills required; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. Peoplesoft and Cerner experience preferred, strong computer, verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work in a team environment is a must. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to work at any location or available to pick up supplies from another hospital.
