Who we are
We are a nonprofit organic farmers cooperative of over 100 farmers in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We focus on creating healthy, high-quality foods from our highly maintained and enriched soils on our small-scale family farms. We deliver the best local organic produce, value-added products, and humanely raised and pastured animal products to retail establishments, co-ops, restaurants, and institutions.

Summary
This role supports the day-to-day communications between farmers and various departments within the cooperative.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with member farmers to source and secure product
- Create and monitor PO traffic
- Work with the Inventory control team to monitor and maintain inventory levels and proper inventory movement.
- Work with the wholesale team to aid sales by providing details on item forecasts and farmer field status.
- Work with customers with final invoice quantities/fulfillment concerns
- Work with farmers with short-term planning based on current demand
- Allocate and submit daily orders to farmers
- Edit POs/Orders according to daily need
- Work with the warehouse team to aid decision-making and respond to quality concerns and other lost fulfillment.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Exceptional customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Enthusiasm for and commitment to working with farmers in the local organic food business
Qualification Standards
Education/ Training:
High school education or GED.
Experience:
Administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft products.
Attendance:
Regular, predictable attendance.
Other:
Ability to be detail-oriented, work independently, and be thorough with excellent follow-through. Must be 18 years of age or older.
