Summary/Objective
As part of the Inventory Control Team, the Inventory Coordinator position will play an important role in ensuring we count and maintain inventory to fulfill our customer's needs. Our team vision is to fulfill our customer’s needs by providing real-time accurate inventory control and innovative solutions to support enhanced supply chain capabilities.We are driven to help our customer by streamlining processes to help reduce waste and support their continued success. This position is critical to supporting our vision. This role will primarily consist of counting inventory with cycle counts, determining the root cause of issues, and working closely with various teams in the facility for enhancement of processes. He/she will utilize scanners when necessary as well as be fluent in our ERP system to enter data and review transactions.

- Able to work independently and self-motivated but eagerly seek guidance as needed.
- Thorough understanding of product flow in the facility
- Completes cycle counts and on-demand physicals.
- Concise and timely email communication within the facility and with customers
- The ability to communicate with all groups in the facility-bilingual is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to pursue issues for long-term success
- Adheres to all FDA-mandated requirements during the inventory counting phases
- Assists in identifying gaps in processes to help in the improvement of efficiencies
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment
This is a service and support role key to the success of FMI’s Inventory Control. Typically work environment is spending the majority of time in the warehouse counting inventory and driving a forklift. Roughly 5-8 hrs. per week will be spent completing computer data entry and transaction reviews with additional hours, as necessary.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, lift, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is always required to use hands to finger or handle.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
- 3+ years of warehouse experience
- 3+ years driving high-reach trucks, and sit-down trucks.
- Basic computer skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and with an emphasis on efficiency and communication.
Preferred education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
