The Inventory Associate's main function will be to support the Inventory Manager as well as Manufacturing and Distribution team and monitor/perform the operational activities within the warehouse including inventory control, stock/restocking replenishment and warehouse maintenance. Working closely with peers to resolve inventory challenges and find solutions that will improve the overall operation of the department, also being able to safely operate material handling equipment i.e pallet jack, forklift. This position reports directly to the warehouse manager.
- Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of inventory, maintain a reasonable safety stock, and avoid inventory backlog.
- Serve as the reliable source to oversee and maintain inventory transaction processes and their adherence.
- Daily system operation, including data entry, document output.
- Assist inventory control team with all aspects of the weekly inventory count preparation, implementation and follow-up procedures.
