Job Summary: In the role, the Internal Communications Manager provides professional communications support to the CEO & President and the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT). This person has an in-depth understanding of the business and acts, writes, and responds on behalf of the Strategic Leadership Team members individually and collectively with the highest levels of accountability and confidentiality.This communications role helps to connect SLT initiatives and messages with the rest of the company. In addition, this role is focused on efforts to engage and inform employees around company strategy, policies, changes, and initiatives Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the development of communication assets, including company-wide emails, content for Intranet, digital display screens, monthly newsletters, and key messaging for SLT and managers.
Create systems and tools to deliver messaging to diverse audiences in production and production-support. Create situations for leadership to interact with production to overcome misinformation and encourage a shared vocabulary and understanding. Establish and manage internal processes for initiatives that involve stakeholders in multiple departments (Onboarding, Education Assistance, External Visitors, etc.).
Build strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership, People & Culture, Plant Managers and Department Managers to shape the way we share critical information. Help the company navigate shifts in culture and business by informing and educating employees. Maintain contracts, agreements, and related documents in SharePoint and Docusign.
Filter communication, make scheduling decisions, and direct employees to resources. Create, critique, and edit correspondence to promote and maintain consistency in the company brand across the SLT departments. Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure Internal Communications and external communications are aligned.
Coordinate speaking engagements and collaborative events within the community and industry Schedule and prepare for all executive and corporate meetings; including catering, logistics, materials, etc. Assist with tracking KPIs for company profit sharing and on request by customers. Assist in meeting facilitation, document preparation, and scribing minutes as needed.
Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Communications, Marketing, or Business concentration with 3 years of related experience Equivalent experience of at least 6 years in related role progression in lieu of a degree Write professionally and in the appropriate voice as SEKISUI KYDEX, the COO and President, all SLT members, and for varied audiences and mediums, while consistently meeting tight deadlines. Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos, and interpret facts. Write business correspondence and reports that will enhance and advance the goals and objectives of the company on behalf of the executives.
Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Interpret facts and evaluate information objectively.
