We are looking for an HR Communications Intern to join our team! As the HR Communications Intern, you will be responsible for helping to create and distribute HR team communications to various target audiences within our organization. In addition, you will take conceptual ideas from our HR corporate team and develop visual representations for both print and digital purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Play a key role in developing and writing communication materials including internal communications on a variety of HR initiatives and important reminders, and identify effective communication channels (email, memos, socials, etc.) for delivering those communications.
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple HR team members for a wide range of materials that may include internal emails, web graphics, Power Point presentations, and marketing materials.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Receive input from the HR corporate team members to ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express details accurately and represent the company appropriately.
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation.
- Examine existing pieces, identifying flaws and develop creative solutions to improve designs.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, graphic design, communications, or related field preferred.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with superior attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadline.
- Creative thinker who can constantly develop new ideas to help drive the corporate HR departments initiatives.
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
