Position Description:- Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and 2020 software for space planning and furniture design.
- Collaborate with the Interior Design team to understand Applied Medical standards and office environment aesthetics.
- Research interior finishes and furniture, including pricing, availability, and create specification lists and budgets as needed, aligning with current trends and company standards.
- Assist in selecting, specifying, and detailing building finishes and furniture.
- Conduct meetings with internal clients to gather project requirements.
- Compile documentation for plan and finish material presentations, including graphic representations and color boards.
- Attend meetings and take meeting notes, as necessary.
- Measure existing building interiors, when required.
- Verify existing furniture and finish materials, as necessary.
- Independently and collaboratively meet project requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
- Coordinate and monitor furniture installations by facilities and vendors.
- Review furniture and construction submittals.
- Participate in site visits during construction to ensure adherence to plans for building finishes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, as needed.
- Assist in preparing furniture bid packages.
- Manage scheduling for vendor library updates and maintain library materials.
- Review tenant improvement construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Possesses outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Maintains a positive, problem-solving mindset.
- Encourages creative and innovative thinking to contribute to the design process and solutions.
- Demonstrates a strong customer service orientation to meet the needs and expectations of internal clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Competitive compensation range: $66560 - $80000 / year (California).
