As an Interior Designer specializing in hospitality projects, you will be responsible for creating inviting, aesthetically pleasing, and functional interior spaces in hotels, restaurants, bars, and other hospitality settings. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience and supporting the overall design vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with the project's vision, branding, and target audience.
- Create efficient and functional space layouts, ensuring optimal use of square footage while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
- Curate and specify a range of materials, finishes, furnishings, and decorative elements that harmonize with the design concept. Consider factors like durability, budget, and sustainability.
- Choose furniture that is both aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source the required furniture pieces.
- Select color schemes that convey the intended mood and ambiance of the space. Ensure that colors are consistent with the brand identity.
- Contribute to budget estimation and monitoring, making design choices that are cost-effective and align with project financial constraints.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of the design vision.
- Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, drawings, and schedules for construction and procurement. Maintain organized project records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes relevant to hospitality projects.
- Excellent creative and artistic skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Adept at project management, time management, and meeting deadlines.
- Awareness of industry trends and a commitment to sustainable design practices.
