Job Summary:
As our Compliance & Audit Manager, you will be the foundational pillar, ensuring strict adherence to both external regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and overseeing our comprehensive compliance and audit program. This critical position requires a proactive approach to auditing processes, risk management, and compliance training, reinforcing our commitment to integrity and ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Program Development: Spearhead the creation and implementation of an effective compliance and audit program, emphasizing monitoring, tracking, and reporting on compliance controls across financial, contractual, and operational realms.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring departmental compliance.
  • Compliance Training: Design and deliver a comprehensive compliance training curriculum for both new hires and ongoing employee education, focusing on regulatory standards and client-specific conduct codes.
  • Legal and Regulatory Guidance: Offer expert advice on compliance issues, assisting employees with inquiries related to regulations and industry practices.
  • Policy Management: Draft, review, and update company policies to align with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Audit and Risk Assessment: Proactively conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and risks, ensuring business operations conform to the highest compliance standards.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with external auditors, business units, HR, and other stakeholders to facilitate audits and address compliance queries. Generate reports detailing compliance metrics, controls, and KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of industry standards, regulatory changes, and business objectives to continuously refine the compliance program.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A solid background in Compliance, Internal Auditing, or similar roles within risk management or operational oversight. Prior experience in banking, legal, or insurance sectors is highly regarded.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related fields preferred. Equivalent experience considered. Professional certifications (CCEP, CIA) are a plus.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication abilities, unwavering integrity and ethics, meticulous attention to detail, excellent teamwork capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and the business acumen to translate complex contractual language into understandable concepts.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in legal administration, paralegal tasks, or contract administration greatly valued.
