Designers at La-Z-Boy Furniture are paid salary of $50,000 plus commission on written sales with NO COMMISSION CAP. Our Interior Designers come from a variety of design backgrounds – decorators and home stylists, fashion designers and fashion merchandisers, visual merchandisers, kitchen design, fine arts and much more! We have the BEST customers in the world and are very selective about who we trust to care for them.

What is important to us in an Interior Designer:

• A willingness and ability to learn quickly, follow proven processes and care deeply about helping people.
• Comfortable driving to and working in customer’s homes
• Great artistic eye for color and balance
• Ability to collaborate with and lead team members to help them develop design projects
• Self-discipline - excellent self and time management - must be proactive and driven.
• A go-getter balanced with ethical caring.

Qualification:

• Associates in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent experience
• 18 years or older
• Professional dress and appearance
• Available evenings, weekends, and most holidays – we’re closed Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter!
• Reliable vehicle with driver’s license – you’ll be paid mileage
