Job Description
SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a HR Generalist for its client in American Falls, ID. This individual would be responsible for ongoing support in all areas of HR. Relocation is offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee relations issues that can include coaching, and employee performances etc.
- Process and manage FMLA, WPFL, STD and other leave of absences.
- Administrations of Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Assist in employee investigation matters.
- Administration of disability and Workers Compensation claims.
- Hire, recruitment, and on-boarding of employees both hourly and salary positions.
- Conduct new hire orientation and presentations.
- Maintain HR policies and procedures. Update handbooks as needed.
- Engaging on leadership meetings.
- Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including annual salary planning, bonus programs, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and files, including employee data, performance evaluations, and other HR-related documents
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role is required.
- Prior experience within a manufacturing plant preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products required.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with HRIS systems.
