Responsibilities:
- Transcribing audio recordings of legal proceedings, meetings and interviews.
- Converting handwritten notes and documents into digital text.
- Ensuring accuracy and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Manage multiple transcription project to meet tight deadlines.
- Format transcriptions according to to the legal standards and guidelines.
- Experience in a Legal Transcript or in a similar role.
- EXCELLENT listening and typing skills.
- Understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- High school Diploma or equivalent, as well as additional legal training or certification is a plus.
Pay: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience
