Job Description
- Actively recruit for all departments by utilizing the most current and effective recruiting tools and trends available.
- Perform initial applicant screening before making interview recommendations to all department managers as requested.
- Assist in recruiting and interviewing process; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Effectively communicate with all applicants including interview scheduling, candidate rejection, offers of employment,
- Conduct reference checks and provide background check instructions to all new hires.
- Prepare employees by conducting new hire orientation and onboarding.

- Oversee and carry out Employee Recognition Program, tracking birthdays, anniversaries, and other recognition opportunities for employees.
- Prepare and send monthly Employee Newsletter.
- Organize/Promote special events, (i.e. Christmas party, summer picnic, etc.)
- Create and administer satisfaction surveys for employees, interns, and volunteers.
- Manage intern and volunteer programs.
- Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions based on hiring manager input.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance, direction, and assist assigned staff on employee relations issues including investigations, resolving employee conflict, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Effectively communicate with all departments regarding all necessary aspects of HR and promote cohesive implementation and execution of HR policies and procedures throughout all departments.
- Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit enrollments; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids as requested; awarding benefit contracts as requested; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
- Maintain employee confidence by keeping all information confidential.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, advising management on needed actions.
- Oversee and maintain credentialing documents for all therapists.
- Maintain all human resource records. Including: employee files, current therapist licensing, required documents for all employees by consistent utilization of QA spreadsheet,
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management preferred
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Highly skilled in attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships and rapport with all employees and management.
- Ability to always project a positive and professional image.
- Ability to pass a criminal with the Department of Health and Welfare background check prior to employment.
