Who We Are:Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.Job Summary:The Payroll/HR Generalist will be responsible for submitting our biweekly payroll & overseeing HR functions for a bi-state wholesaler with 350 employees.

- Responsible for accurately processing employee payroll, including calculations, deductions, and withholdings.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collect and verify timekeeping information, and resolve payroll-related queries for all employees, across Idaho & Montana.
- Manage various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, and handle employee inquiries.
- Assist with benefits administration and performance management.
- Handle compliance reporting including OSHA, FMCSA, and our worker’s comp program.
- Experience as a multi-state payroll clerk.
- Familiarity with payroll & HR regulations, including labor regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using payroll management systems for efficient processing.
- Skilled in managing and resolving workplace conflicts and employee concerns.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy, with an emphasis on confidentiality.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
