Full time, 12 month, Human Resources Coordinator opening in the St. Cloud area. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Reach-Up Inc. Human Resources department to comply with Head Start, federal, state and local regulations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Administers and implements Human Resources functions to ensure appropriate and proper personnel systems. Maintains a thorough, up-to-date working knowledge of the Human Resources profession.
· Administers all benefits programs including health, dental, disability and life insurance programs. Acts as the authorized plan administrator for the retirement savings plan. Ensures enrollment and termination procedures are accurate and in compliance with legal requirements.
· Administers workers compensation. Oversees the accurate recordings of mandated OSHA Forms 300 and 300A and verify forms are completed and reported in a timely manner. Participates on the Safety and Wellness Committees.
· Oversees the mandated Equal Employment Opportunity function and acts as the Equal Opportunity Officer. Administers the Affirmative Action Plan and completes the Annual Compliance Reports using Excel worksheets.
· Oversees job recruitment, applications, interviews, references, and background studies. Oversees new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational goals.
· Maintains and implements agency Human Resources policies and procedures. Responsible for annual updates to the Administrative Manual and Employee Handbook.
· Supervises the Administrative Assistant and Program & Human Resources Support Specialist to ensure efficient office operations.
· Works with all staff to ensure that Human Resources functions are handled appropriately and according to policy.
Requirements:
· BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field. SHRM certification preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience
· Exempt, full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
