Position: Human Resources Assistant
Pay: $19-20 hourly depending on years of experience
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (hourly)
Location: 1050 Wall Street West Lyndhurst, NJ
(NJ Corporate Headquarters)
* Bachelors degree and prior HR field experience preferred*
Responsibilities:
The HR Assistant must possess good organizational skills and possess the ability to handle information in a confidential manner. This person will have a pleasant personality with the ability to establish good working relationships with varying personalities (co-workers, management, the public). This position requires the ability to perform office work directly related to management policies or general business operations, must exercise discretion and independent judgement, provide regular and direct assistance to executives, and perform work, special assignments, and tasks under only very general supervision.
Focus areas for this position Include:
- New hire onboarding
- Collaborate with recruitment and marketing teams to manage social media platforms
- Conduct compliance audits
- Assist with project management and other duties as assigned
- Carryout administrative functions such as recording and filing applicants’ and associates updated documents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, Associates/Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ work experience in Human Resources field preferred.
- Clerical responsibilities and maintaining accuracy in compiling records, filing, typing, etc.
- The HR Assistant must have word processing skills, ability to prioritize, judgement and decision making abilities, and must have the ability to handle multiple projects and complete assignments in a timely fashion under frequent and numerous deadlines.
