Job Purpose:* To support the Company’s overall HR and office function.

General Summary: *The HR Assistant will support the daily functions of the home office and Human Resources (HR) department including parts of recruiting, file maintenance, and leave of absence/FMLA.

Job Duties:*
*
Evaluates resumes to match candidates with open positions with growth to initial phone interviews.
- Ensures the accuracy and currency of the job description database.
- Inputs data into HRIS/Payroll system and conducts regular audits for accuracy and completeness.
- Aids leadership in timecard management.
- Handles various administrative tasks related to Human Resources, including file maintenance, overseeing performance feedback programs, addressing employee queries, mailing birthday and anniversary gifts, and more.
- Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence for the company with an emphasis on attention to detail, diligence, responsiveness, and confidentiality.
- Oversees general office operations, including welcoming guests, coordinating events, managing supply orders, and restocking.
- Stays informed about federal, state, and local employment laws, recommending best practices, and reviewing policies accordingly.
- Keeps abreast of trends, regulations, and modern HR technologies and practices.
- Assists in planning and executing company events and meetings.
- Provides administrative support to the CEO and other executives, as necessary.
- Performs other assigned duties and projects.

Education and Other Requirements:*
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred, or direct relevant experience of 2 years
- At least one year of human resource experience, strongly preferred

Pay Rate: DOE
Remote: Primarily in office (Scottsdale, AZ); limited remote days may be available from time to time (not regularly) as approved by manager
Travel: As Needed yet unlikely
