What is the opportunity?
The Human Resources and Administrative Assistant will support the organization by assisting in employee life cycle activities such as recruiting, onboarding, file management along with administrative -related activities.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Support the full employee life cycle including recruiting, hiring and onboarding activities.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department along with the administrative department.
- Updates various manuals, plans and documents by making edits and arranging for distribution.
- Prepare memorandums, reports and correspondence, as needed.
- Support the creation and tracking of donation requests.
- Prepare meeting agendas.
- Compile reports from various department heads.
- Maintain administrative files.
- Coordinates outings and special events.
- Facilitates travel and conference accommodations.
- Must be reliable and take directions well.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demanding timeframes to complete assigned tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What requirements are needed?
- A high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Associate degree in a related field or will consider industry experience in lieu of formal education.
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF document skills.
- Very strong communication skills including written, oral and presentation.
- Enjoy collaboration and a team environment.
- Attention to detail.

Scheduling and Pay
Human Resources and Administrative Assistant is a part-time non- exempt position with flexibility in scheduled hours.
Target hiring range is $23.00/hour - $26.00/hour dependent upon qualifications and experience.
